An intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides structured addiction treatment without an overnight stay. It may be a starting level of care after assessment or a step down from a more intensive program. Your plan may include counseling, recovery skills, care for co-occurring mental health concerns, and medication management when clinically appropriate. Dove's addictionologists and psychiatric nurse practitioners can assess medication needs, including buprenorphine for opioid use disorder when appropriate.
